Phat, the Shoemaker
Is a 2nd generation shoemaker who came to Canada in 1979.
He was born into the trade and at the age of 15 was trained in the shoe business.
Phat perfected his skill in Toronto by making shoes for large shoe manfacturers
and private clients. He has also repaired high-end shoes for large and independently owned shoe stores since the 1980's.
